Style; Art nouveau An excellent tile panel with a pastoral
landscape of a country house nestling amidst
rolling hills. Tubeline with a green outline
outline and painted with translucent majolica
glazes. It would make a superb splashback in a
country kitchen, we can supply complimentary
border tiles if required. Versos very clean, three being Richards
embossed England, one being Corn Brothers with C
in opposing corners. There are two possible
explanations for this, first they were made by a
third party who bought blanks as available,
secondly they were made by Richards after
shortly taking over Corn Brothers (owned by the
'Richards brothers' younger sibling Reginald) in
1915. Condition: Fine One very small and a few tiny rim chips,
surface very near perfect.
