Rim just about perfect, one tiny, one very tiny
surface chip, other light surface marks. Style: Neoclassical! Sometime you can't help wonder how and why
this tile came to exist. A fish appearing from
seaweed arranged in a classical format the
leaves even suggestive of rococo style. Too
intricate a design for architectural use in a
fishmongers, not exactly the kind of design most
would chose for a fireplace or washstand. Well
weird, I think it's great! Verso very clean, embossed Craven Dunnill and
kiln badge etc. Bottom left corner trimmed for the original
fixing, tiny chips top edge, glaze dulled near the
rim, other very minor surface marks.
