Couple minute rim chips, very light surface
marks. Style: Art
nouveau This design we see from time to time, in most
colourways I find it unconvincing but this is
really nice and actually quite interesting. The
more turquoise blue at the top just above the
flower bush is a different blue not an artefact
of the main blue and so the colourway with two
blues and pink flowers is actually rather rare
and is most appealing. There are relatively few
flower bush designs, it would be difficult to
make much of a collection of them so maybe a
good collecting theme because breaking the bank
or running out of space are unlikely to happen.
With slender stems and delicate flowers not the
easiest to paint and Boote's glaze painting was
not usually amongst the best but these are quite
acceptable. Versos near perfectly clean, embossed
greyhound badge etc. One very tiny, two minute rim chips, near
perfect surface Very minor surface marks mostly near the rim,
white mark upper left a glaze miss. Tiny rim chip left edge, very tiny bottom left
corner, very minor surface marks.
