Tiny chip top right corner, couple very tiny,
couple minute rim chips, minor rubbing to high
points, perfectly clean and brilliantly glazed. Style: Art
Nouveau Never seen before a design for walls too full
for framing as in most fireplaces, washstands
and other furniture, Wildly asymmetric, reaches
out to all four corners, glazed in salmon pink
and forest green both super brilliant glazes,
truly exceptional. Something of the continental
about it, not german, french but not in tiles
rather more akin to metalwork, railings, gates,
balconies and the like. So pleased to have found
just a few of these, will make an outstanding
addtion to almost any collection of art nouevau
tiles or indeed the most expressive art nouveau.
We had four for sale, this is the last, it will
probably be a long while before we see them
again. Verso clean with some minor stains, embossed
