This is perhaps the most popular tubeline
tile of the period, almost certainly as 6" x 3",
and a great example being precisely made and
glazed with three blues and tan and in superb
condition.
Versos perfectly clean, embossed A. M. Ltd.
and England, stamped Tubeline and pattern
number. Meakin the only manufacturer to my
knowledge to indicate the method of manufacture
likely to justify the higher price to
customers.
