manufacture), extremely minor surface marks. Style: Art
Nouveau/Arts & Crafts A bold highly stylised floral design with
impressed decoration painted with bright honey
glaze. Attributed to William Neatby who was head
of Doulton's department of architectural faience
and the designer of the famous Harrod's Meat
Hall along with other architectural gems. Verso very clean, embossed Doulton's Patent
Safety Tile Back with 36 lock rings. Just extremely minor surface marks, rim slightly
uneven in manufacture.
