Top left corner a glazed over manufcaturing
flaw, very tiny chip bottom edge, other very slight
marks. Style:
Floral rococo A pretty floral design of a group of pansies
within a rococo border printed in dark green and
tinted with two colours. One of very few
transfer print floral designs that were
registered in the edwardian era when art nouveau
and majolica tiles were predominent and most new
print designs were highly stylised. Printing in
green and tinting is quite rare too and seems to
be very late victorian and edwardian. Versos very clean, painted pattern number,
registration numbers printed on tile edge. Very tiny chip top left corner other marks
exceedingly slight. Registration number part missed
and illegible.
