Slight roughness/glaze
flakes to the rim, manufacturing flaw top right
corner, near perfect surface. Style: Tourist landscape Mintons produced quite a number of views of
holiday spots most we see from Edinburgh and a
few from Shakespeare country in Warwickshire,
next we see a few from the Derbyshire Peak
District and then varoius locations around Great
Britain. How many were done is not known but new
ones arise occasionally, mostly found on teapot
stands for the giftware market the designs on
tiles are relatively uncommon. This tile of
Swallow Falls is not often seen and less often
seen as a tile rather than pot stand. Verso a bit grubby, usual legend
embossed.
