Manufacturer: T & R Boote
Dimensions: 6" x 6"
Date: design registered 1902
A good art nouveau tile, slightly
germanic in feel but with a little more flow and
fullness. A good selection of earth tones, rich
forest green background setting off the other
colours. The design registered in 1902, Boote
rarely registered designs and they may have
registered on behalf of a client, also
unfortunately Boote didn't put pattern numbers
on the tile so it's difficult to guage how many
designs they did or how they fit in the
timeline. Still as with many manufacturers
unknown to me Boote tiles appear from time to
time.
