Nouveau A super art nouveau tile, a registered design
and a good choice to register for it must have
been quite popular as the design is seen from
time to time and even on 3" x 6" tiles. Never
however seen before in these colours indeed this
colour is a first for me by any manufacturer. I
can best desrcibe it as a mushroomy purple, kind
of what a dusky pink would look like if purple,
also subtle two tone flowerhead - two similar
yellows, not immediately obvious. So a popular
design and a very rare colour, it would for sure
be a point of interest in most collections of
art nouveau and majolica tiles. Verso perfectly clean embossed England.
