A solitary very tiny chip bottom left corner,
chip top right corner is a glazed over
manufacturing flaw. Bottom edge near right corner
are two tiny chips also manufacturing flaws caused
on removal from the kiln as the glaze ran over the
edge and stuck to something. Minor printing flaws,
perfect surface and perfectly clean. Style:
Aesthetic Movement A pretty aesthetic movement floral tile very
much in the style of the times in the early
1880s, a naturalistic flower with a variety of
border patterns and stylised flowerhead peering
from a corner. Printed in brown and tinted with
four colours including red and a super blue. Verso Wood's unique grid, pattern(?) number
written, other numbers on the edges from the
printing sheet probably pattern numbers of other
designs on the same sheet.
