Condition Report
Small chip bottom right corner, small surface
chip apparently where a piece of kiln dirty has
come away, about half a dozen pieces of kiln dirty
remain. One minute surface mark near the left edge
otherwise surface condition is perfect without
wear, rubbing or scratches. A wonderful tile with
brilliant red and extremely high gloss glazes.

A characteristic art nouveau design with stems
and leaves of a Mackintosh-like form with five
petalled pansy-like flowers. A popular design from
T & R Boote which is quite often found with
green or cream backgrounds and flowers of various
colours but is rare with this crimson coloured
ground. A particularly excellent red it is too
especially as Boote's red are often less bright and
glossy.
